Flowers at your Fingertips

I tried to avoid it, but I ended up doing another floral design XP  I didn't want an opaque background at first because I wasn't planning on painting words, the design was just too plain without them.  So they're a little hard to see except on the thumb where I put a white base layer.  The words btw are from one of my favorite song verses ever from David Crowder Band's "Here Is Our King" because hey, I had to use pink, hey they ended up being roses, hey DCB sings a really beautiful verse about a rose (well, it's actually about God, but there's 'rose' somewhere in there), so why not?

Once and Floral

I love thrifiting, swap meets, whatever I can dig through & find cool things for cheap prices <3 Our church had a yard sale on Saturday, and among other things, I got this uh, shelf thing for $4.  Mom suggested I put nail polish in it and voila~ Maybe someday, I'll paint it.

Looks more colorful and glorious in real life, I swear n___n

Which ended up being another floral OTL I only realized it after I finished four of five nails.  I'm going to have to try to lay off the flowers from now on.  Well, I like this one anyway, though I'm kind of disappointed that the dress and nails don't match because I don't have brown, but green's a'ight.

Velvet Flora v.2

A lot of times, I only do nail art on my left hand and leave the right hand with just the base color coating or with glitter & simple lines or w/e; nothing picture-worthy or anything just because it takes me so much longer, since I'd have to paint with my non-dominant hand, but I wanted to see the Velvet Flora with dots, so I decided to recreate it on my right.  Turns out, it's also a lot harder to take pictures with my left hand xP but here it is.

Nineteen Fragments of Love and Velvet Flora

THIS.  THIS BEAUTIFULNESS.

  NINETEEN NEW NAIL POLISHES.  N.I.N.E.T.E.E.N.  IN ONE DAY.  FROM ONE PERSON.  FOR NO OCCASION.  JUST BECAUSE SHE'S FREAKING NICE. OH MY GOSH.  I FEEL SO RICH, IT'S RIDICULOUS.  I'M SO WELL-LOVED!!  Soooo... I wanted to do a nail art that looked as wealthy as I felt...

Aaand... it ended up being... another floral nail art >_> ...But I was thinking of doing some tribute to said friend but then I realized it'd be kind of creepy... so this was the next best thing I guess, well, after the idea I had to use all nineteen colors at once anyway.

Ended up looking more oriental than wealthy-like T3T I think it would have been fabulous to make it matte, but the friend I could borrow a matte topcoat from is out of state, so I'll just have to be content with this.

Rolling on the Floral Laughing

Ever since our Friday Bible study (7/13), I've been feeling seriously on top of the world > ~ < Everything just feels brighter, so I was pretty much itching to use this neon yellow.  The design is floral (again), but upside down, it kind of reminds me of Henna tattoos.  Unfortunately, my nail broke soon after T3T I really love my left pointer finger too...

The only decent picture I got of my nails when they were all in one piece...

In Bloom

Went to a pastor's house for a post-VBS pseudo-party: ate from a taco truck, socialized, learned quite a bit about pedicures and sanitation, ate ice cream, played gameboy (SP >:D), & painted nails.  I usually plan out my nail art (look @ pix for inspiration, draw it out, w/e), but this one was pretty much spontaneous, so the design is pretty inconsistent xP ...Somehow, it reminds me of the rose in Beauty and the Beast.  Except more spring-y.

Greenhouse Coverup

I'd been wanting to paint my sister's nails for a while now (b/c hers are are ugly and gross when they're bare) but always ended up distracted by something else xD Eventually got around to 'em though.

My digicam ran out of battery, so I used my dad's old one to take pix of these, but... this camera stamps the [wrong] date in the corner -___-;;
